The goal at Twin Soles is to provide you with the best massage / bodywork experience possible. My education and experience combined with my personal commitment to helping you become healthy and pain free, makes me confident you will feel safe, nurtured and most of all completely satisfied with your session.
I graduated from the Utah Collage Of Massage Therapy (UCMT) in 1999 and opened my first office of private practice in Logan, Utah. I soon moved to Tempe, AZ to assist with the opening of the Arizona School of Massage Therapy (ASMT) where I eventually became an instructor of Seated Massage and Reflexology.. It was a great experience, but I missed practicing massage on a full time basis and opened an office where I could see clients daily , track their progress and use my knowledge and gifts to the fullest! In 2006 I discovered the Sierra foothill town of Nevada City... and here I am.
I realized that most of my clients wanted a deep tissue massage with lasting results, and the concept of gravity-assisted massage sounded like the modality to study. In 2003 I was certified in Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy and am currently trained in the advanced levels of AOBT.
While Ashiatsu is my primary focus, I also offer foot reflexology and traditional therapeutic massage, among others. The UCMT program offers students the opportunity to learn many modalities from Acupressure to Russian Sports Massage and although I do not offer full sessions of these, my experience in them provides me with the knowledge and ability to create a select fusion of modalities to enhance your therapeutic experience.
I'm very passionate about the therapy I offer. I bring my knowledge, compassion and nurturing to every session with the intention to create positive change in the lives of those I am privileged to touch. Please take a look at 'What People Say' and feel free to email or call with questions or to schedule an appointment.
When I’m not at my massage studio I enjoy hiking, sailing, gardening, yoga, cooking and home brewing craft beer. I also enjoy volunteering at Nevada City’s community radio station KVMR 89.5 I broadcast alternating Friday nights 10-midnight, where my alter ego Fey comes to life on Bohemian Groove.
